Before this year ends, I want to take a look back on my final year of my MA and post about projects that happened. I wrote this blog during my internship with Emma Fraser, the Book and Paper Studio, Dundee Scotland. I spent a total of three weeks learning from her and I am incredibly grateful for that time.
Some of the projects I worked on were a small leather tight back book and used a technique Emma developed, an album which required some creative ephemeral attachments for display, and a late 20th century book. Of all the things, I learned a good deal regarding how private practice works in conservation and for that I am ever grateful. The following is a blog post I created for the University of St. Andrews. Emma invited me join her in performing a survey of books for treatment: A Day in a Bookish Cornucopia
